  1. Good Luck on the 10K today Jenks’ CrossFitters. I must travel to our cadet Ranger Challenge for the weekend. We stay pretty busy but I will try and knock out some WOD’s. I am still stoked about my new PR date with “FRAN” and a 7:33 time. Will now be chasing the 5 min mark. Possibly a post on Monday.

    Hey Mark, Great job on the the 10km! I remember you saying it has been over 10 years since you ran this distance.

  4. Breck, 10km is actually 6.2 miles
    The 0.2 miles is about 376 yards.
    Giving yourself credit for only 6.1 miles, you are not acknowledging all the training benefit of that extra 188 yards.
    Guess I am wanting to make sure I get credit for it.
    Thanks for your note of support. It really has been forever since I ran a 10k. I don’t remember my age at the time, but in my 30’s I PR’d with 43:16. I think I ran in the 43’s twice. Weight was 182 at that time. I will be happy to get myself back into the 49’s, which should not be a problem if I drop 15 pounds to get to 195.
    Seeds, nuts, fruit, green things (I hope that means Margaritas).

    That was an error in my typing! I actually did 6.2 miles. It must have been from the lack of oxygen to my brain from the 10km at the time! But don’t worry, I have fixed it since I have access to the website.
