    52/m/210
    Did CFWU
    Did WOD as Rx’d
(Am I supposed to be grateful or humiliated)
4 minutes completed. Did 1-2-3-2 pull-ups, failed to complete another before 4 minutes up.
I went to the kiddie pool afterwards and played with my duck.

    “WOD”
    As Rx’d
At minute 20, I was 2 pull-ups short of completing 20 pull-ups. 20 has been my goal for awhile now; I’ll get it next time!

Mark, Don’t get disappointed. Keep doing pull-ups everyday and working on the kipping pull-up. It is the same way with me with those Handstand Push-ups. If they were to do a workout like this with those I wouldn’t make it very long. I think you are doing an excellent job with the CrossFit. This stuff is hard but the rewards are so good. CrossFit will show you your weaknesses that you need to work on. Use your warm-up to work on those skills.

Breck (Mr. 208 pull-ups) Thanks for the encouragement. I did 80 challenging assisted pull-ups after the WOD this morning. I won’t quit.

Started with a WOD I found in the archives:

    Run 800m, 3 Rounds, 2 min rest b/n each:

Wasn’t quite sure how I’d feel so I started a little slow..

    800m @ 8.7mph
    800m @ 9.0mph
    800m @ 9.2mph

Should have done all b/n 9.0-9.5………next time!

Then proceeded to do today’s WOD:

I did this at the gym where I work (Tulsa Community College) and there were a bunch of guys using the equipment, so I had to use the assisted pull-up machine thing- But with no assistance. The grip felt a little awkward…not to say that if it hadn’t I would have been able to complete more than two.

Two minutes completed: Did 1-2-pull-ups then failed to do any at 3 min…
