    What’s A2A (ass to ankles?)

When I showed up at the gym, I felt dead. When I did my first air squat in the warm-up, I did not think I would be able to lift 50 lbs. for the “WOD”. But, I got warmed up, felt better, and had fun. I probably could have lifted heavier today, but I am scared of injury. So, I continue to be very careful.
    Did CFWU
    Then WOD Back squats.
    1@95
    1@100
    1@110
1@115 (My new PR, but felt like I lost my form when I was coming up, so reduced weight on next lifts)
    1@95
    1@95
    1@95

Did 215 deadlift (new PR, previous best 205)
Did 150 bench press (new PR, previous best 135)

Worked on dips and pull-ups again. Did 20 push-ups.
Did 6 “knees to elbows”. I had seen this on one of the videos, and wondered if I could even do it. Thought I should try it, and I was successful. Will go back now and review video to make sure I understand proper form.
Tried a little jog on the treadmill to see how my hamstring felt after the pull it got yesterday. Took about 10 steps and stopped. It’s injured, but still think it’s mild.

I sure like Crossfit. Looking forward to reading all the girl’s postings, so I can see how much more weight I have to lift to catch up to them.

Breck, saw the video of you failing at back squat when you were in California. Wondered if today’s lift was more weight, less weight? 335 is plenty strong.

My enthusiasm for Crossfit keeps growing.
