Time: 25:35

It was an honor to do such a workout named after a great American Soldier who gave the ultimate sacrifice so we can have this great country we live in! I would like to thank all the American Soldiers for their service to this country and give my deepest sympathy to Navy Chief Petty Officer Mark Carter's family.

Mark, I will conduct your OFFICIAL WOD tomorrow as you earlier posted. Great Idea! I am with you, the last couple of days have put me in the hurt locker. I actually thought tomorrow was a rest day, but Shannon sadly informed me today after BADGER beat me down, that it is not a rest day. Very Disappointed because I gave BADGER the utmost respect. It hurt, felt like puking, performed several broken sets but finished as RXd under my 40 minute goal (just barely).
Mark I am sure Coach Berry may have some better pics of the 100lb pull-up, thanks to Danny as the flash photographer that day. Thanks again Danny. Mark, I truly love your weight correlations. You are the MAN. Great job on gutting out the long WOD and not quitting after the 1 hour mark. Your intestinal fortitude is commendable.
WODS posted below, I have slipped in Shannon’s modified BADGER (cut everything in half) and slapped her up to 55 lbs. The weight and exercises cut in half on reps turned out well for her. Great Day Jenk’s CrossFitter’s and good luck battling BADGER, you will need it. Train Hard, Train Smart, Train to Survive! OkieDB out!

OkieDB WOD Wednesday 071219

Is that a photo of Capt. Berry with 100lbs.?
Post a shot of him halfway up with that load if you've got one. Or send it to me if you have it.
A Burpee Big Maxx pumpkin with a 70” diameter weighs in at 100 lbs. That includes all the gunk inside that you have to scrape out to make a jack-o-lantern.
A Rotax 503 2 cylinder, 2 stroke, fan-cooled airplane engine weighs a 100 lbs.
A deer can easily weigh 100 lbs.
A hellfire missle weighs 100 lbs. and can blow up a tank.
A Newfoundland dog weighs 100 lbs.
A Hawksbill Sea Turtle can weigh 100 lbs.
I'd like to see a shot of Capt. Berry with Hawksbill Turtle dangling between his legs while he does pull-ups.

52/m/209
I tried to give this one all the respect it deserves.
I did modified "BADGER" w/75lb. a2a squat cleans, and assisted pull-ups.
3 rounds 30 reps squat cleans, 30 pull-ups, 800meter run.
TIME: 1 hr. 7 mins. 20sec.

After the last few days of excruciating WODs, I have a couple of ideas for tomorrows WOD.

Thursday WOD: Fold 10 terrycloth towels into the shape of pain, for TIME.

Thursday WOD: Lay prone. Roll to your left side and moan. Roll back to your right side and moan. 20 reps. For TIME.

I love Crossfit. It is teaching me a lot about myself.

Thanks for keeping me pumped up OkieDB.

The utmost respect and thanks to Navy Chief Petty Officer Mark Carter and his family. May he rest in peace and best wishes to his family!
This WOD is going to hurt, as it should, so we can honor his ultimate sacrifice. Thank you to all our Armed Forces and supporting personnel that stand watch over this Great Nation. God Bless America.
I am very curious about yours and my results as “BADGER” looks like a total ball buster, especially after the last few WODs. I will give it my all. Best of Luck. OkieDB Out
