For time:
150 Burpees

Post time and location to comments.

These are from completely prone to jumping and touching an object eight inches above maximum reach.

This workout requires no equipment so it can be done anywhere while on your Christmas vacation.

A great turnout for the Saturday, 10:00 am class!

  1. Merry Christmas Eve Jenk’s CrossFitters,
I woke up today and Santa Breck did not give me what I wanted. 150 burpees for time to an 8 inch mark was not on my list. Burpees are far from it (definitely a weak point). Additionally, I am pretty sore from the Army WOD I developed, posted and conducted yesterday. Nonetheless, it was fun (yea right) and I did better than I thought@ 12:59.

Congratulations Coach Berry on the large Saturday WOD turn-out. You are a great Coach, Trainer, and Person. Nicole is an exceptionally awesome person also. I raise my shield to both of you. This will be one of my last posts for a while as my move-out time is a few days out. I will stay as consistent as I can on your CrossFit training and WODs. I will also try to post as much as possible while down range. I have packed two CrossFit Jenks t-shirts and hope to knock out some WODs in bizarre places and get some pics with my fabulous hometown CrossFit Facility t-shirt on. Thanks for all you do and I wish both of you happiness and success in all of life’s endeavors.
Jenks CrossFitters, Thanks for all the great workouts and posts, you are a splendid bunch. Take care and Train Hard, Train Smart, Train to Survive! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. .

PS looking for the ZONE posts. I love it as I was a Zoner for 8 weeks and fell out. I will do what I can in my new environment. MRE zoner. I also loved the meal plans as it gave me a guide and a recipe list. Zone Out Coach

  2. Awakened feeling a low level of motivation, but finally did a few stretches and squats and decided to take on the 150 Burpees. I should have warmed up more, as the first 25 were very tough. I found some rhythym eventually doing 5 reps and recovering a little to do 5 more and so on. Nothing makes me feel as heavy as a burpee. I feel like BW:285, like there is an air conditioner on my back.

    Anyway, I did 150 Burpees in 40:19.
Less than 4 per minute. Yikes. What a poor fitness level.

I have got to drop some weight. I am psyching myself up to enter the ZONE soon.

    Merry Christmas to all.

OkieDB, God Bless You as head out for your adventure in the sand.
