    When I started warming up today I realized that I had strained a muscle in the right middle of my back. I am sure it was from trying to pull a snatch into position on Thursday. I had probably let the bar get too far out in front of me on the way up and muscled it.

    Friday, I had planned to do the main Crossfit WOD: “Nasty Girls”, but I had pain trying to do power cleans above 40lbs. I wanted to do 75-95lb. power cleans, but it hurt my back.

    So I modified “Nasty Girls” to 3 rounds for time: 50 squats, 14 dead hang pull-ups, 14 assisted dips (pu’s and dips since I can’t do muscle ups), and 10x40lb. hang power cleans.
    My time: 27:29

    I did back squats 10×45, 10×65, 10×85, 5×105, 5×105

    I did bench press 10×45, 10×65, 10×85, 10×105, 5×115, 5×125, 4×135, 3×135, 1×145, 1×145

    Rowed 1k
    Ran 1k on treadmill

    Ran 3 miles on the road in 27:07

    First time since Dec. 26, that I had been able to run 3 miles on the road without my calf tightening up to stop me.
