  1. I didn’t know I could use coolers for plyo boxes, I have several of those! I thought I was going to have to build or buy the shin friendly tapered boxes.

Is there a load limit on coolers? I’m probably 40-50lbs overweight at about 300lbs.

I’m not sure I’m up to doing 50 box jumps yet anyway, so I’ll probably stop when the cooler breaks. Or flips over because its too light and narrow at the bottom. I guess I’ll just use the concrete steps in my garage now that I think of it…

Good luck with those 50’s Jenks gang.

  4. Hey BRobert, The cooler is actually filled with concrete blocks and sand so it won’t tip when jumped on. I also glued and screwed a piece of 3/4 plywood to the top. I only use it for some of the ladies because it can’t withstand much weight. It has worked out rather well but I need to make a small solid wood plyo box. I wouldn’t recommend turning your coolers into box jumps but instead fill them with some cold beers for some refreshing beverages after a tough “WOD”.

    great job everybody!

Maybe not the fastest time, but I think the “most guts” award has to go to Jennifer tonite.
way to stick it out through the pain, Girl!! Now go get ur drink on, u deserve it!

  6. Ha ha- Thanks Danny although after all that work I am not sure I want to drink too much!- Everyone did great- I want to give a shout out to Danny and Tim for stickin around till I was done. I really appreciated the encouragement and drive. I appreciate that the members of this gym seem to start together and finish together and no one goes home till the last person is done. There is defenitely a sense of strength that has been established in you all. Danny you did so awesome and I am hoping to make some time gains and catch up! Have a great weekend guys!
