  1. Greetings CrossFit Jenks Crew,
    Wow those were some nice times on FRAN yesterday. Keep up the good hard work. While I am in a bit of a drought a very special young lady in my life gave me a testimonial about CrossFit. Motivated me extremely! While she is very reserved and does not speak much about her CrossFit efforts I found this to be very spectacular and a great statement about her first and CrossFit. CrossFit has definitely changed her life as well as mine. Anyway this is the quote:
    “On my 31st birthday I did set a PR on my Fran. My time was 8:34 modified with 55lb thrusters and jumping pull-ups. In January my time was 10:49 with the same weight. CrossFit really does work, sometimes I wonder about the workouts, but the results prove it is a good way to stay fit.”

    PS She follows the CrossFit Jenks WOD protocol!

    On another note, Do not worry Danny that happens to me all the time. One day I have a good FRAN or whatever benchmark WOD and some days I get gassed.     Did main Crossfit WOD: I did “Angie” 100 pull-ups, 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats for time with no alternating the exercises.

    I modified it by doing 4 rounds of 25 of each exercise. I did first regular 50 pull-ups, and 2nd 50 pull-ups were assisted.

    My time: 39:21

  3. This looks like a fun WOD. Sorry I missed out today. I was just worn out and needed some sleep. After FRAN yesterday I went to Muay Thai class and we did 40 frog jumps and some other stuff at the end of class. I’ll be in tomorrow!

    modified with 75lb push press

    1st round treadmill 7.4 0% incline
    10 push press 75lbs
    30 sit-ups

    2nd round ran at 7.0
    3rd round ran at 7.0

    time= 14:51

    push press is what got me- have fun tonight you all- I’ve got a hot date! ha ha- see you friday for danny’s workout!

  5. First I must say congrats to Mrs. Shannon Berry on her “Fran” PR!!!! That is an awesome time, especially when your doing these workouts on your own! We sure would love to see you here at the gym sometime! ; )

    So…this was my first day back after being sick for the past week…still feeling a little under the weather, so I modified it down to 65lbs.

    3 Rounds for time of:

    400 meter run

    10 Push jerks 65 lbs

    30 Sit-ups

    Time: 12:07

    Down several seconds from a couple of weeks ago. Doing it on your own without a little peer pressure is more difficult.
