(my score pretty much sucked!)
52/m/193
I did warm-up of stretches, Samson Stretch, 15 sit-ups, 15 back extensions.
Did main Crossfit WOD: “Murph”
Time: 1 hr. 25 mins. 55 sec. I did running on treadmill at 0% incline. I did 10-20-30 reps for 3 rounds, then switched to 5-10-15 reps for 14 more rounds. Completed the full 100pull-ups, 200pushups, 300 squats. I did not carry any extra weight.
My only previous “Murph” was 10/12/07, which was my 12th day of doing Crossfit. My time then was 1 hr. 30 mins. 16 sec. However, at that time, I did all assisted pull-ups. I only did the first 40 push-ups as push-ups, then subbed bench press for push-ups with decreasing weight as I went along from 95lbs. to 45lbs. to finish. Today all pull-ups and push-ups as Rx’d.
I am running the “Race for the Cure” 5K Saturday morning. Expect about 250 runners. There will be about 5,000 walkers.
Good luck to all you Crossfit Jenks folks racing tonight in the Cinco De Mayo run.
Danny-
I did that fitness test. I scored at the level of a human slug.
Where were the check boxes for:
Can put away 1/2 lb. of fajitas w/queso in under 3 minutes
Known to eat fudge brownies and ice cream after 10pm
Likes your beer with chips and salsa.
Living on the Crossfit edge, way out of the Zone.
I would have gotten a better rating then.
ha ha - I took that test too- I have a lot of improving to do!
I’m a “well-rounded beginner”….. that’s bull-crap!
lol, I still had some to go to be a well rounded beginner!
