Well Julie won’t be doing that for a while. She got rear ended on her way home last night. She’s doing OK, sore neck and back but nothing broken. I should be back on a regular schedule next week.

Hey, they’re not all standing around! Looks like David is actually walking, and I see someone sitting down by the stairs.

    Get well soon Julie.

I can relate to the sore back part, but mine was my own doing. I think I tweaked it on my last lift yesterday, but I don’t think it will cause me to miss a WOD.

    Jeff,

This has nothing to do with CrossFit but do you still have your moving company? I know someone who is moving this weekend and I thought I’d check with you first.

  11. Jeffon 15 May 2008 at 3:39 pm

Yes, I do and thanks for thinking about us. We’ll probably be about the cheapest in town, but this weekend is filling up pretty fast. Budget Movers - 446-9000

Who’s the chiropractor that comes in the evenings? I can’t think of his name, but want to see how soon he can take a look at my back.

  13. Dannyon 15 May 2008 at 3:59 pm

    Jeff-
that would be Chad Craig @ Elite Chiropractic, 610-5200.

  14. Jimon 15 May 2008 at 4:01 pm

    Jeff,

Thanks. I went ahead and booked the move with Budget Movers.

  15. Nicoleon 15 May 2008 at 4:11 pm

Jeff- did the 305 do something to your back?

  16. Jeffon 15 May 2008 at 4:48 pm

    Thanks Danny and Jim!

Nicole - yep, I’m afraid I did it on my very last lift. It wasn’t so much the weight, but my form. I didn’t keep everything tight and let my back round a bit right off the ground. There wasn’t any pain when I did it, but I could tell there was a little give in my back so I expected it to hurt today. I just wasn’t sure how much. It’s not so bad that I can’t walk or bend over, but my lower back is tender right along my spine. I was planning on going to a chiropractor anyway, so I decided to have it checked out just to be safe.

I hate to hear that Jeff, I hope everything turns out okay. I’m sure Dr. Craig will take good care of you! On a more positive note, you got the max weight DL for yesterday!! yippee!!

This morning after I finished “Cindy” I got on the treadmill to run a mile just to cool down, but I could not run because of a severe pain in my left big toe joint. It is something that has just started occurring randomly over the past month. I ran a few steps and had to stop.

But tonight I was feeling good, and my toe seemed fine.

I went out and ran a 5K in 27:15 and had no toe pain the whole way. Life is weird.
