30 Kettlebell Swings (Men 55 lbs, Women 35 lbs)

    Did main Crossfit WOD (modified): Row 1,000m, 25 Burpees, Row 750m, 50 Burpees, Row 500m, 75 Burpees. I did 25 Burpees each time, so I was 75 Burpees short of the full WOD. I had to be at a meeting earlier than normal this morning, so I had to cut this thing down in size. What a joy to eliminate some Burpees. Hate those things. Nothing makes me feel more unathletic.

    I know what you mean about the burpees, Mark.

    In the first round of our WOD I was having some shoting pains in my shoulder and down my left arm (something I’ve never had by the way!!), so I pleaded with Coach Berry for a substitute during the second round. He came up with burpees w/o the pushup! I did those for the second round, but hated them so much I did pushups and suffered through the pain for the third round. Let’s hope that wasn’t a foolish decision.

    On a positive note, I did the KB swings without any back pain. Hopefully it’s stays that way.

    20 Box Jumps

    25 Push Ups (sub’d burpees w/o pushups for 2nd round)

    30 Kettlebell Swings (30 lbs)

    35 Sit Ups
