David, it was quite a sight to see Breck and Loren going at it this morning. Breck won the first round by 9, Loren won the second round by 4 and they had a tie in the last round.

Woo-hoo Loren!!!! Great job on the FGB! Looks like you’ve got Breckers sweatin it! And I think Breck may have mentioned that was a PR for him… : )

    FGB
as Rx’d (kind of cool to say that)

    214 PR
    vs
    194 on 5/9/08

I was surprised to see an increase of 20 over my last FGB. I’m hoping it’s due to my new eating regime. I purchased a backpack cooler and have been toting snacks and lunches to work this week. It’s kept me closer to the Zone - only closer because I’m not weighing or measuring stuff. I’m just eyeballing it, but it’s better than what I was doing. Besides, it keeps me eating enough. Part of my problem is consuming enough calories throughout the day.

    Awesome job Breck and Loren!

I stayed strong on the Zone again yesterday 10 blocks…plus 1 beer. Pretty much the same foods as the day before with some minor variations.

Nicole, the Zone worksheet you gave me said 10 blocks for a small female. My thinking is that I want to someday be a small female so I will eat like one. I do plan to eat 12 blocks on the days I do CrossFit, otherwise my body might start to eat itself too quickly.

Thank you Zoners for the inspiration. This eating plan is actually pretty livable.

PS. I am finally feeling better today so I will be back in full force on Friday! Woo hoo!

    Did 3 rounds of
    15 knees to elbows
    15×45lb. OHS
    15×35lb. dumbell swing
    15×70lb. thrusters

    This worked my core bigtime.
This was something I threw together since it is too complicated to try and pull off FGB at my gym. Eager for a rest day tomorrow for me.

I used to think that the best thing about Crossfit was the grueling workouts. I now know that it’s the people at Crossfit Jenks that makes the workouts so special. Thanks so much for the card and comments - it means more to me than I can express in words. Seeing everyone tonight was the best therapy I could imagine. Oh yeah, Fight Gone Bad helps to relieve some stress too!! Great to be back!!
