    Hello CrossFit Jenks Crew,
It has been a while since I have been able to post, but fear not I am still turning into BURPEEMAN with a big B on my Chest! I just finished my 24 to start the day and they are still unbroken; however, I have given serious thought to breaking them up in sets throughout the duty day. Any thoughts???? Mark I already read your highly motivational burpee thoughts and you are now possessed with the burpee bug. Thanks to all of you still supporting me with the burpees. Sunflower thank you too for doing them with me. Some days I feel it might make the tour seem longer by dreading them, but when done the day flies by.

As far as Crossfitting, CrossFitJenks style, I have had to go into a spiraling fitness implosion. I am considering this a rest and recovery mandatory modality due to the elements. I did date “Cindy” the other day and made it 21 rds with her. Nonetheless, the CrossFit Jenks crew is looking awesome and I am getting much closer to get to perform a WOD/get smoked by you all in good-ole-Oklahoma.

Just when one thinks they are getting in shape Mr. Everett puts down the Hammer on the King Kong WOD. I wish I could just complete it as RXd. Gotta love CrossFit and keep on getting after it. Breck, Loren and crew I will be watching for your video of this awesome feat. I just want to deadlift 405 yet alone that KRAZY KING KONG KRAP. Additionally Nicole what is this “paleo-esque” diet??? Please elaborate.

Once again it is great to see your posts and feel like I am at home, watch your dedication and fitness improvement, and see the sister/brotherhood you all have.

Train Hard, Train Smart, Train to Survive! Keep on CrossFitting, OkieDB Out

Here’s a closing Chuck Norris Fact for you:
There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of creatures Chuck Norris has allowed to live!

    52/m/190
Did some warm-up squats, stretches, push-ups, and pull-ups.

    Did 24 Burpees

    AMRAP in 20 minutes
    Of 5 thrusters 80lbs., 7 hang power cleans 80lbs., 10 SDLHP 80lbs.

    I did 5 rounds and 5 thrusters

Something popped in my middle right back on the third round of thrusters. I think I did not have my core as tight as I should have when I lifted the weight overhead. I was able to finish, and do not seem to be in pain, but there is a muscle back there feeling spazzy. I would hate for an injury to spoil my 100 Burpee challenge effort.

Always good to hear from OkieDB. Captain Kong! Fear him.

I thought I would get in on the Chuck Norris fun.

Chuck Norris visited the Pope a while back, and with his presence alone, impregnated all of the nuns at the Vatican. The end result was the ’72 Dolphins.

See, I am old, and Chuck has been around for awhile too.

Here is my favorite Chuck Norris Fact:

Chuck Norris doesn’t do push-ups, he pushes the world down!

    Chuck counted to infinity……..twice
Chuck can slam a revolving door
Chuck once ate a whole cake before his friends could tell him there was a stripper in it
    Chuck can divide by zero
It only takes Chuck 20 minutes to watch 60 minutes
Chuck played Russian Roulette with a fully-loaded gun and won

    PS Looking forward to Cindy

Chuck Norris’ tears cure cancer. Too bad he has never cried.
Chuck Norris doesn’t worry about changing his clock twice a year for daylight savings time. The sun rises and sets when Chuck tells it to.
Chuck Norris drinks napalm to quell his heartburn.
Chuck Norris has never blinked in his entire life. Never.

    Sweet picture.

1000 yard swim this morning and then I went to a pilates class with my mom. It made me realize how horrible my flexibility really is. Very depressing….

I’m heading up the turnpike now to return to Tulsa. I’m going to try to make it in for Cindy. I love this one.
