    Hello CrossFit Jenks Crew,
I must first start off with WOW Nicole I cannot believe you did 300 burpees to catch up after a 1 mile run. I can think of nothing, yes nothing, worse to have to perform for 1 hour and 4 minutes. Totally amazing and words cannot describe that mental and physical stamina. I have never heard of anyone performing 300 burpees in one day, yet alone in one session. I can only guess you will not fall behind or skip days again. My hat and helmet go off to you.

Danny 3 a.m. burpees is too cool. I actually do mine every morning at 4 a.m. Iraq time. Thanks for the support Quadzilla.

Jim your 20:11 5k run and 1st place finish is awe-inspiring as a 35-39 year old man. Great job. Makes me motivated.

Mark your traveling WODs are quite interesting and says a lot about your consistency and detailed workout planning. I shall never conjure up an excuse when traveling.

Speaking of which, has anyone bought the traveling WOD cards????

Anyway, finished my 37 burpees for the day and I am still unbroken. Getting harder. I get winded and legs fatigue some now. Still going strong as I am ready to finish and get out of here. Cannot wait to work back out with the crew at CF Jenks. There are some new people there I have not had the privilege to meet and man there are some great WOD times. Thanks to all of you still reaching for that 5050th burpee. 703 down and only 4347 to go:) Once again thank you to all of you still burpeeing on the Berry’s 100 Day Go Home Burpee Countdown.

I have been able to knock out a WOD or two over here. I dated “ANGIE” the other day as RXd in 18:41 and was over a minute and a half off of my PR.
I also did a WOD I developed based off of my Old Combat Diver “Scuba School” Instructor days. It was actually pretty good and a smoker. I had to use a treadmill for the hill run, but it was developed for a hilly cross country course.

    “Retro Scuba PT WOD ”
Complete the following in as few sets as possible:
(go from one exercise to the other in a circuit giving max effort for max reps each attempt)

    75 Dips set 1 reps = 22 set 2 reps = 23
    set 3 reps = 20 set 4 reps = 10

    75 Pull-Ups set 1 reps = 17 set 2 reps = 18
    set 3 reps = 15 set 4 reps = 15 set 5 reps = 10

    150 Push-Ups set 1 reps = 55 set 2 reps = 50
    set 3 reps = 45

    150 Sit-Ups set 1 reps = 100 set 2 reps = 50

5 km run on treadmill hill profile (level 7)
    TIME = 25:19

    The secret is beans…

Thanks for having us over Jen. It was good seeing some of the CFJ crew. Hope the pics came through OK. I haven’t used Kodak much.

    From the road,

    David

  14. Timon 03 Nov 2008 at 4:59 pm

Jennifer: I thought we might make it to your party until I saw the note at the end of the invitation directed at me. “No crazy’s”, it sounds like you all had a great time.

Okay so here is the scoop with flag football…

    All games play on Saturdays
Location: Haikey Creek Park/ Hunter Park
Game times may very depending on the total number of teams registered in the league.

*It’s a very social and fun league!* The team minimum is 8 to register. There is no cap for the maximum number of players that a team may have on their roster.

Coed Flag Football League will have it’s first pre-season games on Saturday November 15th.

**All team rosters must be emailed in by Wednesday November 12th 2008.

It is 55$ per person to play which covers the cost of the shirts and equipment. There is an additional fee each game for the refs which is $2.50 per person on game days. The league will run about 8 weeks through mid January. I know it might be cold but it will be a lot of fun. At the pre-season games you get to meet the other teams and learn the rules of play.

We can have more than 8 sign up, seriously the more the merrier!
This is who I have interested in playing so far

    Ginny
    Nicole
    Jessie
    Me
    Matt Saucier
    The other Matt S
    Denver
    Tim
    Jeff
    Breck?

If any of you have friends outside of the gym that want to play that would be great too. I need to fill out the roster forms before the 12th so I am asking that by the 10th we know who will play and we can have the money thing taken care of. I talked with the guy in charge, Nic, and he said that if anyone wants to pay by credit card to call him and you can do it that way. If you want more info go to http://www.offyocouch.com and check out the webpage. You all will have to sign a wavier form which I am assuming will be signed at the pre-season game. Please let me know if you are in or out. You can e-mail me at jlarkin07@gmail.com. I hope we can play- I think it will be a blast!
