    Hello Coach Breck,
    Posting yesterday’s WOD a little late and my response to the Berry Farm Beating. It has been very busy at work.

    YES, my family and I do plan on attending the Berry Farm Festivities (AKA Beating, Competition, Games). I will consider it more of a survival event and avoidance of cardiac arrest. I am sure you will put me in the 40 and over heat.

    Yesterday’s WOD really unveiled to me that I need to probably start going heavier a little more often as those 135lb Thrusters provided some deep muscle stimulation. Basically about drove me into the ground like a hammer hitting a nail.
    Thursday 090528
    As many rounds as you can do in 12 minutes of:
    5 Thrusters (Men 135 lbs)
    10 Burpees

    OkieDB as RXd = 7 rounds and 5 Thrusters and 3 Burpees

    I will have to knock out today’s WOD later. It looks pretty cool and should help me work on that strength parameter mentioned above after deadlifting 225lbs 75 times. Thanks for reading my muscles and mind.

    Hey gang, here’s video part 2 of 2 from CFLA on taping hands to protect rips. I know my old way generally ends up with a wad of tape on the floor of CFJ after not long at all. Hope this helps!

    And after multiple 3 and 4 year old girls’ interruptions in the first 3 rds, I threw in the towel on completing today’s WOD, which didn’t hurt my feelings that much as it was taking me forever even when I wasn’t tending to children. That’s a lot of dead lifts, so strong work to you beasts that plowed through it!

    Stephen!! OUTSTANDING job on your workout tonight!! 225lb deadlift is no joke… you have inspired and motivated me to get back to lifting heavy!! Not for a few months of course…… : )
