Ben (Clean & Jerk)

Beginning February 1st, CrossFit Jenks will be offering monthly CrossFit On-Ramp Classes.  These will consist of 8 classes that will cover the fundamentals of CrossFit and prepare you for our regular group classes. There will be 2 different On-Ramp Classes offered.  One will be offered on Monday’s and Wednesday’s at 6:00am and the other will be offered on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s at 6:30pm.  You MUST sign up for these classes.  These classes will be limited to 5 individuals.  Once the classes have started you can’t sign up until the next On-Ramp Classes are offered.  So be sure to sign up soon.  E-mail breckberry@crossfitjenks.com or call (918)-639-9144 for more details or to get signed up.

    mods: regular kipping pull ups, HSPU head to ab mat & 10 lb plate

    40 Knees to elbows -not so much
    30 Burpees -can I bank the 3 extra?
    20 L-pull-ups -regular pull-ups
    10 Handstand push-ups – first attempt at doing them in a workout, got stuck upside down

    We did yesterday’s CFJ WOD at the Y today!

    5 Rounds for reps of:
    1 Minute of double unders
    1 Minute of military sit-ups (hands interlaced behind the head with feet anchored)
    1 Minute of burpees
    1 Minute of rest

    Total: 505

    Had to redeem myself after Isabel’s wrath.

    Had to sub out the HSPU. The shoulder isn’t quite there which was frustrating. L-pull ups are not my favorite thing. Great job 6:30…thanks for letting me sub as a coach! :)
