This is workout #3 from the SoCal Sectional.

“Six Max Efforts”

Event 1: Row – 3 minutes – max calories
3 min rest
Event 2: Deadlift (275#/185#) – 3 minutes – max reps
3 min rest
Event 3: L-sit – accumulate as many seconds as possible in 3 minutes
3 min rest
Event 4: Overhead Squat (95#/65#) – 3 minutes – max reps
3 min rest
Event 5: Pull-ups (chin over bar) – one max effort without coming off the bar
**must begin pull ups within 5 seconds of the start**
Rest begins when you finish your pull-ups until start of run (6 min after start of pull-ups)
Event 6: 800m Run for time

    Thank you so much Clint and Stephanie for hosting that awesome shin dig last night!! We had a wonderful time!

    Matt: I really like OKC’s buy in. I think that will be additional motivation for some folks. If people want to do blog recipe posts, before pics, group meetings, etc… this will all need to be figured out before we start. I also think it should be a 12 week challenge. If we want it to be legit, we might want to push it back just a bit. How about April 15th?

    Deadlifts – 20 ( I wanted 30…wasn’t even close)
    Subbed regular sit ups for L-sits – 90 (too tight in my hamstings! Must work on that)
    OHS – 52
    Pull ups -30
    1000 m row -4:09.8

    Thanks Clint and Stephanie for last night. It was a blast. Ditto to avoiding Reasor’s. Saw Matt there and also stood in line for far too long. Ugh.

    Muscle up progress report: Christina and I were both close today. Both determined. By Friday there will be two new members of the muscle up club.

    Nicole…maybe the 12 weeks is a better idea…but maybe we can do an extra 12 weeks? It can be like a bonus round…or an extra buy in? We can start putting together specifics soon enough
