There will only be an 8am and 10am class today.

“Murph” Challenge

For time:
1 mile Run
100 Pull-ups
200 Push-ups
300 Squats
1 mile Run

In memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005.

Partition the pull-ups, push-ups, and squats as needed. Start and finish with a mile run. If you’ve got a twenty pound vest or body armor, wear it.

  1. Murph – completed without a vest. Did straight thru, no partition
    68:56 (1st time without partitioning – PR is ~66 minutes partitioned)

  3. Murph w/ 20 rounds and no vest = 43:03….I’m pretty sure that last mile took me about 10 minutes!!

    Would like to thank all those service members that lost their life while serving in active duty and their family members.
