CrossFit Open WOD 17.2 Details:

Friday: The Open WOD will be the Workout of the Day & that evening we will host the CFJ Open Showdown from 4:30-6:30. This event will be run in heats and will foster a fun, encouraging and competitive atmosphere! Feel free to bring your friends and family to cheer on all our Athletes!

Saturday: 8am & 9am- Regular CFJ classes; 10am-12pm- Open WOD

Sunday: 11am-1pm- Open WOD

  1. WOD Rx’d (think there were about 4 step-ups in the second round of box jumps):

    Max DUs: 63 + 63 = 126
    Max DLs: 18 + 17 +16+ 18 = 69
    Max Box Jumps/Step-Ups: 20 + 20 = 40

    307 reps
    DU = 175 (85+90)
    DL = 65 (25+20+10+10)
    BxJmp = 67 (35+32)
    If your lower back is not fully recovered from 17.1 I recommend scaling the weight on the DL or subbing out DL. Trust me!

    Round 3 – 22 / 22 boxjumps
    Round 4 – 19 / 22 deadlifts

    *Round 1 = the bike didn’t start counting cals until I was 25-30secs in so prob did 20+ cals and could barely jump after…Bike is still undefeated

    40 anchored sit-ups = 1:20ish

    MOD WOD as Jewel and Jim and all others that did 17.1 twice motivated me to do it again yesterday. Thanks fellow CFJ cross fitters for the push.
