Happy New Year CF Jenks!!! Jessica I am always in awe at how well you move in CF. Even your rest and recovery is spot on in this pic.
Thank you for all the hard work and dedication to fitness this last year. Now let’s make the next year even bigger and better.
“It is men of action who most commonly possess the discipline and character required for both genius and success.
At CrossFit doing trumps thinking, and training teaches us more about performance than reading, and experimenting reveals more than comparing theories.
That is why we find ourselves disproportionately graced by the company of intelligent and successful men and women.” – Greg Glassman
As you embark on the New Year I recommend a great book on Leadership and taking ownership. The book is called Extreme Ownership by Jocko Willink and Leif Babin. Now the book is written by Navy Seals and one may think it is a war memoir book. It is not, while it uses the stresses of combat to help push the issue of taking responsibility/ownership, it is a great book for all leaders, business personnel, and of course my favorite CrossFitters! I hope you enjoy the read ☺ Thank you very much Chris Vassilou for recommending to me, I am indebted.
