  1. Greetings CrossFit Jenks Crew,
Wow you all are going to be sub 60 second 400 meter sprinters. Nicole must be hitting you all with some of her sprint and running expertise. I think I will just read your results and stretch a little bit.

Coach Berry here is what we knocked out today to keep you posted. I am not sure if you have seen or done this one before but it is a great build up WOD to help with basic skills and functional movement memory. I was able to get 6 rounds and the 7th round of thrusters. I would like to see if you, Loren, Danny, Mark, Stephen, Jim, Nicole, Jennifer, Loren, Linda and the whole CrossFit Jenks Crew can break 10 rounds. I believe you all can. Enjoy. Train Hard, Train Smart, Train to Survive!

  4. Good to hear from you Brandon! Glad you guys like the new Crossfit location.

Julie and I made it back from Iowa…our fighters did very well.

We brought home 2 world titles and we have another now ranked 2nd in the world.

Our other 2 fighters did well but didn’t make it out of the eliminations.

  5. Crap Ginny! Awesome job! I am looking forward to this one…. although my legs seem to be getting more sore as the day progresses! : )

Good to hear from you guys Brandon! We hope your loving your new CF home! We sure miss you guys!

Congrats to David and Julie and your fighters! 2 World Titles… awesome!

Once again to Danny, Congrats on your new level one Cert– we are very proud of you! Thank you Sandy for the cake! It was a real test of my will power! : )

For any of you concerned about my zoning, I have been keeping pretty strict– just lazy on the posting. So here goes.

    Monday

3 ckn/apple sausage links from whole foods (2 protein blocks)
1/2 Whole wheat/grain english muffin (whole foods) 2 carb
tbs Peanut butter (little more than 2, but I’m not as concerned w/ fats)
    2 Blocks

    1 oz turkey burger
    mixed veggies
    6 almonds
    1 Block 2x fat

    Shake
    3 Blocks

    2oz turkey burger
    orange
    6 almonds
    2 Blocks

    Black bean burger
    1/2 english muffin
    Avocado
    Spicy mustard
    2 Blocks

    1/2 Cup Almond Milk
    1 tbsp PB
    ? Not balanced?

10 Blocks (not counting the last snack)
I felt pretty good about yesterday’s meals– I’m trying to cut back to 10-11 Blocks daily. Baby steps. : )

  6. At the cert I was told that my 19 blocks was way to much food. (I was not happy about that) The trainers said for my size I should be on no more than 15 blocks. (I was not happy about that) So now I’m on roughly 25% less food. today I’m shooting for:
    4,1,4,2,4 = 15 blocks

  7. You’ve got to be kidding me Danny! 15 Blocks!!!! Well, if that’s true– no wonder I’m not losing any weight at 12 blocks. Are you sure? Who were you talking with? We’ll speak tonight at the gym.

Oh, OkieDB! I’ll be doing your workout on Saturday! I’ll post my results.

  8. 5 rounds:
    400m run
    185 lb. DL

    time: 17:52

this morning my legs were still locked up like concrete, now the have successfully turned back to jello. It seems that the life of a Crossfitter is continually spent in one of these stages.

  9. I couldn’t have said it better myself Danny.
