She will keep your form right!!! Could have gone up in the weight, but wanted to focus on my technique and form first. If you want to focus on form and technique this is a great workout to do! It also kept my cardio going throughout!! Awesome experience Breck!!! Thanks for setting me up with Linda!!!
First off, I gave blood yesterday, and I am not talking about completing “Murph”. I gave a pint to the Red Cross after completing “Murph”. So I am building new blood today. I started the day with the official Crossfit Warm-up, doing assisted pull-ups and dips. Followed that with a 1-mile run on the treadmill just to make sure the juices were flowing before I jumped on “Mary”. Completed 5 rounds. Of course, I can’t do handstand push-ups, so I substituted shoulder presses, and I did weighted squats since I don’t think I can do a one-legged squat. I do not know what a one-legged squat looks like, and I could not find a demo video. I did assisted pull-ups. Thanks for the good time “Mary”. I did a 1-mile run on the road and some AB work afterward in honor of OkieDB, who always seems to add lifting a sofa over his head or carrying 50 cinder blocks a hundred yards to the end of his workouts.
Ran the Stillwater, Eskimo Joe’s Juke Joint Jog 5km

Hey Mark, The one-legged squats are also known as pistols. Check out this video if you want to see some impressive one-legged squats and exactly what they are; http://media.crossfit.com/cf-video/CrossFit_CFSFPlaysOHStrength.wmv
I think they are very difficult and I need to be practicing them more. You could always hold onto something for balance and perform them. Believe me they are still difficult this way. That is usually how I have to do them when I do “Mary”.
Going to Stillwater to do the 5k tonite.
