If you are planning to go to OKC for Fight Gone Bad…
My parents have graciously opened their home to anyone who wants to come down Friday night so you don’t have to get up early and drive to Edmond Saturday morning. They live in Edmond and will be out of town that weekend. There are five bedrooms that sleep at least two each and then multiple couches and lots of bathrooms. Everyone would have plenty of room. The house is just a few minutes from the OKC gym. There is a pool and if anyone is interested we could have a pregame cookout. Let me know you are interested in some free accommodations the night before! Whether you are competing or spectating you are welcome!

Looks like a group of trained killers is headed this way. While not as luxurious as the accomodations Ginny has offered, I have some extra room as well if needed. No worries, I have washed the sheets since Loren’s last stay.
20 completed + 10 pullups on 21st
Total pull-ups= 220
Looking Good Ginny- That looks like a heavy squat clean- you go girl! I miss you guys a lot 🙁
It’s the YWCA’s One Year Crossfit Anniversary!!
On behalf of all of us at the Y I wanted to say thank you to Breck for one year of YCrossfit! Most of us showed up that first day, wide-eyed and a little unsure of what Crossfit was, but I know we were all ready for something new. After that week of continual and excruciating soreness we were all asking, “What have we gotten ourselves into?” But one year and a definite Crossfit Addiction later I know not one of us at the Y could imagine doing anything else on our lunch hour. It gives us one hour to forget about work, deadlines and stress, allowing us to push ourselves and feel that sweet sense of accomplishment after we finish a workout we didn’t think we could get through or set a new PR with heavier weights and a faster time. We have seen improvements in both physical and mental strength, renewed confidence in ourselves and abilities and a true sense of community as we all struggle through a workout together or cheer each other on. So thank you again Coach Berry because none of this could be possible without you and we look forward to many more Crossfit-Y workouts!
Well said, Christina. If it weren’t for CrossFit, I’d still be loping around on a treadmill bored out of my mind.
