CrossFit Jenks is so excited to be hosting our 9th CrossFit Open! The 2019 CrossFit Open is for EVERYONE no matter your skill level. Whatever your into, competing against your peers, challenging yourself, conquering a new skill or qualifying for a spot to the next level, we encourage you to SIGN UP (make sure to list CFJ as your Team and affiliate)!

The first workout (19.1) will be released this Thursday, February 21st! This is the game plan for CrossFit Jenks:

Friday: The Open WOD will be the Workout of the Day & that evening we will host the CFJ Open Showdown from 4:30-6:30. This event will be run in heats and will foster a fun, encouraging and competitive atmosphere! Feel free to bring your friends and family to cheer on all our Athletes!

Saturday: 8am & 9am- Regular CFJ classes; 10am-12pm- Open WOD

Sunday: 11am-1pm- Open WOD

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask one of our coaches.

    ~10 singles

    10 rounds:
    10 Partial Front Squats w/45# (at best I got to parallel before back started to round)
    1 Strict Parallette HSPU

  3. Strength: finally got 175# on my 4th or 5th attempt…was ugly

    WOD:
    8 reps into the 155#’s

  4. So sore today and it’s supposed to be my deload week.

    C&J worked up to 105 and stayed there for all the singles

    125-135-155-165-175 then failed in the pull of 180 3 times

    Finished the round at 135# at 15:24 and sat on the barbell (last year 7/10 @135#)

    Not C&J PR but pretty sure it’s a squat C&J PR. I’ll take it.
    WOD rx – thru 9@205. Failed #6 at 25, so had enough time to finish but a failed rep cost me.
    2 rep PR from last year.

    Worked up to 345 for 3. Enough for today

    Wod – 25 min amrap
    8 heavy ball slams – used 55#
    7 landmine pulls – used 225#
    6 dumbell bench press – used 55#
    5 strict press – used 25#
    4 heavy ball squats
    30 DU’s
    7 rds + 2 ball slams

  8. Clean & jerk strength
    3 reps – 115 lbs
    2 reps – 145 lbs
    2 reps – 165 lbs
    1 rep – 185 lbs
    1 rep – 195 lbs
    1 rep – 205 lbs ( failed 2x before nail it)

    WOD
    Finessed rd 155lbs plus 4 reps 185 lbs
