  1. Did the CrossFit Total this morning. Plan on doing the CFJ “WOD” this afternoon.

    Back Squat = 315/345/365
    Shoulder Press = 135/Missed 165/Missed 165/155 (The 155 would not have counted if this would have been a competition because you can’t decrease the weight once you have tried it and you only get 3 attempts but I’m counting it today for my total.)
    Deadlift = 315/405/Missed 415

    Bodyweight = 165
    CFT = 925

    My zone blocks for yesterday were:
    4/2/2/4/2/1/4
    Total = 19 blocks

  2. I am currently giving myself a pat on the back.. finally! I stuck with my 12 block prescription.. as a matter of fact, I only had 11 Blocks!! Yippee! Of course, my evening choices were NOT the best but those are minor details.. : )

    1 Pear
    2 whole eggs scrambled
    6 Almonds
    2 Blocks

    Zone Bar
    2 Blocks

    1/2 C Cottage Chz
    Canned mandarine oranges drained (2 Blocks Carb)
    Sprinkled w/ slivered almonds
    2 Blocks

    2 oz Ckn Breast
    1 Apple
    6 Almonds
    2 Blocks

    2 Beers= 3 Carb Blocks
    2 oz Ckn Breast
    1 oz chz stick
    3 Tbs Avocado
    3 Blocks

    Total: 11 Blocks

    Good luck today to everyone zoning or just cleaning up their diet! It is definitely a continual work in progress! Stick with it and I guarantee you’ll see awesome results!!

  3. Great job everyone on the Zone. I am trying to eat clean, but haven’t gotten to the point of weighing.

    I also wanted to RSVP for the shindig Saturday. Jackie and I will be there and possibly Hali, our older daughter. I’m hoping we can get her there.

  4. Woo-hoo Jeff!! I hope you guys can make it!!!!!! What happened to the flying rolls?? You guys had my mouth watering talking about that.

    Did Crossfit Total
    BS 45/135/200 (New PR)
    SP 45/95/110 (my PR already)
    DL 135/225/300(f)/300(f)/280(f)/280(f)/275(f)/225

    I am a disaster. I guess I jumped too fast on DL. I wanted to get 600 on my CFTotal, which would have been a PR. I ended up with my lowest CFTotal ever Then I got pissed and quit, settling for a warm-up weight.

    Did more deadlifts
    3 sets of 3×225
    3 sets of 5×185

    ran 1 mile on treadmill at 0% incline.

  6. Also, I need to go ahead and say count me OUT for the Berry Farm WOD on Saturday. I will have to make it up there later in the summer.

    Worked out with some Triathlon buddies today.

    “Brick” workout,
    run 2 miles,
    transition under 60 sec.
    bike 10 miles
    transition under 60 sec.
    run 2 miles.

    my times:
    2 mile run in 18:30
    1st transition :52
    10 mile bike in 36:42
    2nd transition :38
    2 mile run in 20:50

    total time= 1:17:32

    rough.

  8. Nicole, if you had seen me yesterday morning during the warmup/WOD you would have seen the flying rolls weren’t flying so much. In fact they weren’t flying at all!!

    I had too much junk and not enough CF last weekend while in Branson, but it was a very nice trip and the flying rolls were delicious. I also had too much frozen lemonade, cobbler & ice cream, biscuits, and potatoes and not enough protein and complex carbs. Oh well, once I get back on my (ir)regular healthy diet, I’ll be OK, but that first WOD back was most unpleasant.

  9. Sorry guys, we won’t be there for the big shindig on Sat 🙁 We had prior plans before we knew about this one! We will miss you guys!

    However, the good news is that I am getting some tests done Friday & Monday, which will hopefully find out what is wrong with me…so I’m keeping my fingers crossed, but I have a sinking feeling that my gallbladder may need to come out 🙁
