Ice Bath at the 2010 CrossFit Games.

Have you ever taken an ice bath?  If so, do you think it helped with recovery?  What was your experience?

  2. Nope, no ice bath for me.

    Jenks track with the ladies…
    3/4 mile jog warm up (I was running late)
    2x200m sprints
    3x400m sprints
    2x200m sprints
    1 mile jog cool down

    Didn’t want to do it, but I feel great now that it’s done. Thanks for inviting me girls!

  3. The ice baths are beneficial! Uncomfortable, yes, but effective. I don’t know about getting your pic. made w/ another dude sharing your ice bath though! Ha. Between your pic and Barber’s I don’t which is scarier.

    J. Stone congrats on the duathlon. That’s is really cool. Talk about needing an ice bath.

  5. I used them during collage track and Cross country but not since. I they helped then and I should probably try them again. BTW are you and Tommy’s feet touching?

  6. I took my first ice bath when I finished the Marine Core marathon in ’08. It’s tough for the first few minutes but I think it definitely helps pull the inflamation out of you legs. I’m a believer…
