    Ran Bloomin’ Fest 5k in Temple, TX
    My time: 27:47.

    Not sure where that placed me overall or in age group, as they did not have results up when I left.

    Don’t ask me how the Alter Bridge concert was last night. I drove 45 minutes to go to the concert, and when I got there learned that the concert is next Friday night. What the jiminy crispers was I thinking?

  2. did a track workout w/ Nicole today:

    1600m / rest 30 sec. / 400m,
    3 min. rest,
    1600m / rest 30 sec. / 400m

    times:
    9:01/1:45 (i think)
    9:00/1:50

    thanks Nicole! a 26:00 minute 5k is my goal by the end of summer, hopefully these speed sessions will help me get there!

  3. We’re back! Had a great trip & missed you guys! Our WOD’s while in Paris consitsted of walking, walking, stairs, walking and more stairs! We got some great pics with our CF Jenks shirts & will email them over!

    1O PUSH UP (GIRL)
    15 AIR SQUATS

    11 RDS + 10 PUSH UPS
    ( up 2 rds from March 3)

    Mark ..great job on the 5k..I would like get less than 30 minutes…but I have 5 minutes to make that goal.

    As many rounds as possible in 20 minutes of:

    5 Pull-ups

    10 Push-ups (substituted dips)

    15 Squats

    7 rounds plus 4 pull-ups.

    The dips slowed me down on this one. I lose muscle endurance very quickly with dips, but I’ve made great progress on them. When I first started I couldn’t even do one full ROM dip. Today I did probably 60-65 of the 70 with full ROM!

    Great job ladies on the PRs today. You all did awesome!
