  1. Greetings Jenks CrossFitters,
I have not posted in a while but try and follow your WODs, results, and comments as much as I can. I would just like to say to all of you that you are a motivational and dedicated group of CrossFitters that are continually improving and posting some great times. Keep up the good work as you inspire me and are an exceptional group/family.

I know today is a rest day for you or 150 burpees for time (ouch), but I wanted to offer this to Coach Breck as I had one of my CrossFit buddies over here encourage me to give the SPARTAN 300 WOD a try. I was leery at first as I have heard about and read about this WOD, but never actually performed. Anyway since my buddy busts a 2:226 FRAN and says this is a great WOD I said what the hell. He guessed I would finish around 18:00 minutes based off of my 5:00 minute FRAN time. So I sought out to see if I was SPARTAN material. The results and the workout are posted below. I am curious to see what some of your times are. I do not really have any gauges over here and definitely would like to know our Elite CrossFitter Breck/AKA Coach Berry’s time to see how fast he can blaze through this. Well I hope you all enjoy it if you ever give this WOD a try in the near future. If you are not sure of the exercises GOOGLE can help as I was curious about a windshield wiper myself.
PS Coach Berry did you see Speal and Dutch’s time the other day at altitude with the Double Unders and 135lb Thrusters. Give them hell at the games.

  2. Ran “T.A.T.U.R. Estim8ter 8 mile race”

In this race you predict your time on an 8 mile unknown course, then all runners are stripped of watches and any timers, the winner is the runner who comes closest to their predicted time. It’s a test on how well you know your own pacing.

    My predicted time : 01:28:58
My actual finish time: 01:35:12 (only 6 min. off over 8 miles!)

The course ended up being very hilly, about 80% road and 20% ROUGH trail.

  3. 52/m/190
I was out of town and had to make up my own WOD. I had no computer access.

I went to a track where there is a pull-up bar about 10 yards off the track.

    I did 4 rounds of:
    run 200 meters, 10 push-ups, 10 squats, run 200 meters, 10 pull-ups, 10 squats

    Then did
    10 pull-ups
    50 sit-ups
    10 push-ups
    50 sit-ups
    10 push-ups
