  1. This WOD looks super fun! Bailey and I made it safely to Michigan yesterday. I’m sporting my new Jenks shirt today in honor of all of you. 🙂

  2. was waiting for some one to spell sots before i posted

    sots press

    5@55, 3@65, 2@75, 1@95, 1@105, 1@125 failed..brent great job

  3. Actually found it spelled both ways. Crossfit spells it “Sotts” while wikipedia has it as “Sots.” I guess the world will never know.

  4. I really don’t want to post this on here, but I think embarrassment might be a good source of motivation for improvement.

    Sotts Press 5×5, 3×10, 2×20, 1×22

    WOD (very very modified):
10lb dbs (kind of wish I’d tried it with 15’s)
    Pullups with green band
50 single jump rope swings (haven’t mastered the double under yet)

2 rounds + 30 single jump rope swings

  5. My first offical WOD in Michigan….”Sevens”.
    Seven rounds for time:
    7 HSPU
    7 Thursters (135/95)
    7 Knees to Elbows
    7 Deadlifts (245/200)
    7 Burpees
    7 KB swings (55/35)
    7 pull ups
I scaled my deadlifts down to 175 after the first round. It was every bit as horrible as it sounds
    Time:
    45:30…it was long and brutal.

Good news though, there is a Lulu store about fifteen minutes from me. YAY!

  6. Becky, no embarrassment required. You’re doing what YOU can do.

    So…this Sots’ press thing, wow.
    5 @ 35
    3 @ 55
    1 @ 75
    2 @ 85
    90 (f) x 2…humbling!~

    WOD:
    6 db sq. c. 25#
12 pullups (did 6 each round to keep it moving)
24 DU’s (these are finally getting better, after a whole year!)

    3 rds + 4 sq. c.
