Attention ALL CFJ folks! Crossfit Springfield has just released the dates for the Heart of America CrossFit Team Competition. It will be held November 2-4, 2012 in Springfield, MO. This is a top notch event, and is also seriously fun! It is open to all levels (they have a scaled and RX division) and teams must consist of 3 males and 3 females. We can enter as many teams as we have interested, but it will fill up quickly, as they only allow 30 teams in scaled, and 30 teams in Rx division. Registration will open up in about 3 weeks, so please consider it. CFJ won the RX division last year and it would great for our gym to have multiple teams competing (one gym brought 8 teams last year).
Here is the link with all the info and videos from last year: http://heartofamericacrossfitthrowdown.blogspot.com/
Check it out and get excited! Please email me if you are interested or have any questions, Pgmillspaugh@aol.com.
Don’t remember my Jenks Mile time but it was consistent yet slow. 😀
Yay for hoodies and heat. I’m finally down to less than 5lbs to cut for this weekend.
I’m competing in a Grappling and Jiu Jitsu tournament this weekend here in Tulsa for once. It’s on Saturday at Soccer City. Doors open at 8am and the event begins at 9am. The will release the entire schedule on Thursday or Friday depending on how many competitors sign up.
